Why do my periods last for 10-13 days?

My periods are very strange as they sometimes last up to 13 days. Is this normal an what should I do about this?

Generally, duration of menses should be 7 or less days, a prolonged days as you indicated is unusual. You may need to discuss this with your physician to investigate this further. It may be nothing, but worth a work-up.
It is not normal for your period to last this long, and there are various reasons this can happen. It would be best for you to see an Ob/Gyn soon to have an exam and some bloodwork done.
Typically, this is not normal. There could be a number of different reasons including structural problems like a polyp or hormonal problems like a thyroid problem. You would need an appointment and an exam in order to be able to figure out what's causing your cycles to be that long.
