“Why does my son have a cough and swollen lymph nodes?”
My 9-year-old son has had swollen lymph nodes for months, and doctors haven't really been able to help with it. He also has a dry cough that doesn't seem to go away. Why does he have this?

How big are the lymph nodes? Are they just in the front neck? If so, this may be allergies. If they are large and tender he could have infection such as mono, CMV. If he has weight loss and nodes are everywhere and big, he needs checking for lymphoma. He would need rechecking if both cough and lymph nodes persist.
