I am 51 year old male. My friend said he was in pain after his colonoscopy. Will I have pain after a colonoscopy?

No it is not typical to have pain after a colonoscopy.
Pain is not a typical symptom after colonoscopy. My patients feel bloated, distended, and air-filled afterwards. These symptoms typically resolve within 24 hours.
