The “gums” actually just follow the height of the bone, so you are losing the bone around the teeth. If not managed, it could lead to mobility and loss of teeth. Get a sonicare toothbrush and get your teeth professionally cleaned.
Yes possible probably won't just fall out but if you have periodontal disease they can get very loose and develop perio abscesses and be very painful and need extractions. Get periodontal treatment before that occurs from your dentist.
Receding gums are a condition in which your gums pull back from the tooth surface, exposing the root surfaces of your teeth. It’s just one form of gum (periodontal) disease. This is a serious consequence of poor oral health, which may lead to tooth loss. There are a variety of treatments available, depending on the severity of tissue loss. The earlier the diagnosis and treatment, the better the outcome.
You must protect bone support, so protect your gums with regular dental care and not too vigorous brushing.
