Does novocaine have any side effects?
We no longer use novocaine, more often the dental anesthetic used would be liodocaine. Side effects are rare, but can happen. Side effects of novocaine could be dizziness, irregular heartbeats, anxiety, restlessness, nausea, vomiting, trembling, or seizures. Allergic reactions are also possible. How often should I get a teeth whitening?

Should I floss after every meal?

What could happen when I get my gum surgery?

Why are my teeth so sensitive to different temperatures?
The sensitive toothpaste will usually help within about 2 weeks, but don't use any other type of toothpaste. Also, no bleaching or tooth whitening products. If this continues talk to your dentist. READ MORE

Dr. Hartman earned her undergraduate degree in clinical laboratory sciences from Indiana University, followed by her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2007.
While in school, Dr. Hartman worked as a pharmacy technician at CVS. After college, she worked as a medical technologist in the Allergy and Immunology Department at IU Health where she performed phlebotomy, prepared allergy injections, as well as ran laboratory testing.
Dr. Hartman is an active member of the Indianapolis District Dental Society, the Indiana Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. Dr. Hartman is a Silver Level Provider with Invisalign®. She also regularly attends an implant study club.
