Pertaining to his educational pursuits, he obtained his undergraduate degree from Harvard University before earning his medical degree from New York Medical College. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Stony Brook University Medical Center and pursued a fellowship in adult & pediatric spine surgery at the Spine Institute of New York at Beth Israel Medical Center.

Continuously advancing his efforts, Dr. Morelli is an active member of prestigious organizations including the North American Spine Society, American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, American Medical Association, and the Medical Society of the State of New York. He holds a New York State Medical License and is board-certified by the Board of Orthopedic Surgery.

His commitment to excellence in orthopedic care is evident through his extensive accomplishments in research and academia. Having published and presented on a range of orthopedic topics, his expertise encompasses low-level fall spinal fractures in older patients, Cauda Equina Syndrome, spinal implants, and recovery outcomes in different patient populations.

Prior to joining Orlin & Cohen, Dr. Morelli served as an Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Stony Brook University Medical Center, specializing in general orthopedics and spine surgery. His illustrious career includes affiliations with reputable hospitals such as Mather Hospital, South Shore University Hospital, Huntington Hospital, and Peconic Bay Medical Center.
