Get to know Dentist Dr. Shiraz Asif, who serves patients in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.

Dr. Asif has been a general dentist in Eden Prairie since 2009, when he established his private practice, Anderson Lake Dental. His core values are patient education and their comfort during the procedure. With his special interest and education in cosmetic dentistry, He looks forward to helping you rediscover your smile with exceptional results.

“I place great emphasis on listening to my patients so I get to know their concerns. My goal is to present all the possible treatment options and educate them about their particular situation so they can make better decisions about their Oral health“ expressed the doctor.

After earning his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from the Baqai Dental College in Pakistan, Dr. Asif relocated to the United States and attended Purdue University, where he completed his residency in operative dentistry. He then went on to earn his AEGD (Advanced Education in General Dentistry) and his Level 1 aesthetic dentistry certification from the University of Minnesota.

Since then, he has completed hundreds of continuing education hours to keep himself up to date with modern technology and procedures so he can offer best treatment to his patients with uncompromising results. He is currently in the process of completing a fellowship in orthodontics.

Among his professional affiliations, Dr. Asif is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Minnesota Dental Association, the Minneapolis Dental District Society, and the American Academy of Sports Dentistry.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.

Happily married, Dr. Asif and his wife, Amber, have been blessed with a son, Danial, and a daughter, Aleena. They also have a cat, Snowy, who is considered very much part of the family. Together, they love to travel around the globe.
