Get to know Dentist Dr. Robert Korwin, who serves patients in Red Bank and Middletown, New Jersey.

Dr. Korwin has been providing quality dental care to New Jersey patients for nearly four decades at Advanced Dentistry with a Gentle Touch. With offices in Red Bank and Middletown, he combines the latest dental technology with empathy and a gentle touch to help each patient obtain a beautiful smile. He is known for using the most advanced dental technology, including air-abrasion decay removal, laser gum treatment, intra-oral cameras, and more.

Recognized as a teacher and innovator, Dr. Korwin promotes excellence in preventing orally-linked disease and provides highly cosmetic dental repair and reconstruction utilizing orthodontics, implants, surgery, prosthetics, sedation with laser, digital, and computer-assisted diagnostics. “With these new procedures, we’re able to help patients realize that they don’t have to live with a toothless smile or cumbersome dentures for the rest of their lives. But best of all, we can ease their worry about any pain involved with the implant procedure because there is virtually none. At the start of his dental career, Dr. Korwin completed his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree and his residency at the world’s most prestigious dental institution, the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. After patenting new dental products, he amassed over 2600 hours of postgraduate education. 

As a testament to his success, he is part of the 1% percent of dentists worldwide who have achieved dual Mastership Awards from the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD) and the International College of Oral Implantologists (MICOI). 

Additionally, he maintains membership status with numerous professional organizations, including: the American Society for the Advancement of Anesthesia in Dentistry (member of the Board of Directors), the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the New Jersey Dental Association, the Monmouth Ocean County Dental Society, the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, and the International Association for Orthodontics.

Heavily involved in the advancement of dental technology, Dr. Korwin holds three dental patents. His work has been published in the Journal of Dental Research, the Journal of Continuing Dental Education, and the Penn Dental Journal.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.
