Wonderful Oncologist and Guide along my Breast Cancer Patient Journey. 4 years ago, I met Marleen Meyers at NYU Cancer Center. I was under 40 yrs old and just diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer. My partner was 8 months pregnant with our second child and we had a 2 yr toddler running around. To say the least, it was a hard, crazy year of treatment through chemo, radiation and surgeries. Marleen has been such a powerful presence in my life and continues to be a wonderful guide on my patient journey. She's clinical when you want or need it, emotionally supportive when you want or need it. Bonus, she is a stickler for always being on time and not keeping people waiting. I highly recommend Marleen. Between her grace and skill, and the NYU Cancer Center's services, patients and caregivers feel well cared for.
