Get to know General Dentist Dr. Supriya G. Patel, who serves the population of Texas. Dr. Patel completed her undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of Texas at San Antonio. She then obtained her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. After obtaining her degree, she completed her residency at the Olin E. Teague Veterans Center to pursue an Advanced Education in General Dentistry. Dr. Patel is trained with the skills to treat more medically complex patients, perform conscious sedation and complete dental surgeries including extractions, place implants and perform minor periodontal surgeries. She holds an expertise in sleep medicine, sedation, and the treatment of periodontal disease.To stay up to date in her field, she remains a professional member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association. She is currently practicing with Vista Ridge Family Dentistry.
