Bayshore Medical Center, formerly known as Bayshore Community Hospital, is a 169-bed general medical and surgical hospital located on a 37-acre campus at 727 North Beers Street, in Holmdel, New Jersey near the Raritan Bayshore.

Since 1902, Raritan Bay Medical Center has been a provider of quality compassionate care to the men, women, and children in Central New Jersey. Today, a high level of care continues to be offered to those in need with a total of 501 beds at the Perth Amboy and Old Bridge facilities. A medical staff of more than 500 physicians and specialists and a nationally-recognized nursing and ancillary staff of 1,700 provide medical-surgical, maternity, pediatric, general and critical care, stroke, behavioral health, and emergency services.

A French native, Dr. Serieye earned his medical degree from the Universite Pierre and Marie Curie Faculty de Medicine in Paris in 1961. After relocating to the United States, he completed internships at Truesdale Hospital and Unity Hospital in 1962 and 1963, respectively, and then went on to complete his residency in psychiatry at the Rockland Psychiatric Center in 1965.

In 1977, the doctor attained board certification in psychiatry through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to serving the professions of psychiatry and neurology.
