He then pursued his medical doctorate degree (MD) at the Sackler School of Medicine in Israel in 2001, all while conducting significant research at Tel Aviv University in Israel.
The pursuit of knowledge continued as he completed his internal medicine residency in 2004 at Montefiore Medical Center in New York, a renowned institution affiliated with the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Ben-Artzi’s specialized training in Rheumatology took place at NYU, culminating in 2007. During his time at NYU, he also served as a clinical instructor, highlighting his commitment to educating the next generation of medical professionals.
In 2008, he returned to California, where he assumed a faculty position at the University of California in Los Angeles. His dedication to academic medicine spanned seven years, during which he made valuable contributions to the field of Rheumatology.
As a testament of his continued education, the doctor is board-certified in rheumatology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards of care in a rapidly changing healthcare environment.
