  • 2020 - The beginning of change

The Paris Climate treaty was developed in the early 2000s through the United Nation, and a bill signed in 2015. Set to start in 2020 and China had 10 years after to stop polluting. Always wondered why before! This bill has not so much to do with polluting yet it's a bill of a socialistic agenda...

  • Can medication help with health anxiety?

Psychotherapy can help the best. There is medication and everyone deals differently from medication. If you want medication you need to go see a nurse practitioner or psychiatrist. They will direct you on that. READ MORE

  • How do I know if my wife is a nymphomaniac?

This is usually something that has or might have been going on, though it is a psychological matter and marriage counseling could help or try talking about it to her. Sometimes a woman needs attention from the other person and shows it differently. READ MORE

  • Why am I never in a mood for sex?

Not sure of your age but many men go through this in their 40’s - 70’s, depending on their situations. Usually 60’s are the medium age for that to happen but then 50’s are close behind. Many combinations contribute to this. Stress being number one. We can have stress and not even know. I suggest having a date night almost once a week and get dressed up or whatever makes this easier. Your wife needs love and a connection from you READ MORE

  • Why does my sister obsess over the idea of getting sick?

Have her go see a therapist because she might have certain phobias and it could easily be psychological over anything. Sometimes a few sessions may be all she needs. Find a therapist who is not big on medication and treat her issues with psychotherapy. READ MORE

  • Can a psychologist help with relaxation therapy?

Not all can or do but try a holistic medical center. Most areas have then now a days. You can try calling a psychologist and ask for free to see if they use or can do that type of treatment. READ MORE

  • Can psychologists also help one deal with pain better?

That really depends on the circumstances and the psychologist. Yet basically the answer would be, no. Sometimes doctors can only go to and from the way they were taught. Alternative medicine and holistic medicine and care might be the answer for most every patient there is. As we get older pain becomes more present and moving and exercising helps. Sitting down and lying down does not. Temperature and humidity and vitamin deficiencies are all objects of reasons for pain as we get older. Our mattresses need to be more foam and getting a good nights rest is very important. Foods we eat and liquids we drink need to be upgraded as we age. Have her become more health concerned. Change her diet, its mind and minerals and proper nutrition. Maybe tea, instead of coffee all the time, and pure water and electrolytes and a foam mattress. I know this may sound different, but worth trying. READ MORE

  • Scabies and application of benzyl benzout

Try another application. Go online and google it. And then change your lifestyle because scabies are caused from being around filth, etc. Have him shower at least once every day and every night before bed. Clean sheets at least once a week and clean towels every 3 days at least. Wash hair every night before bed. Enjoy. READ MORE

  • My sister loses interest in things very fast, having a negative impact on her life.

Just a therapist alone could help her. No need for a psychologist if money is coming out of your pocket. She is still young but seeing a therapist can help direct her future life. READ MORE

  • Is it possible to treat bipolar disorder without medication?

Really depends on how severe it is. You can try alternatives and homeopathic remedies. A good therapist would help for sure. Not doing anything can result in many different disappointments. READ MORE

  • My son is a different child since the death of his father. What can I do to help him?

Talk to him and if he continues to hold everything in, then wait and get him some counseling. He really needs counseling over medication right now I feel. But you can do wonders if you can get him to talk. READ MORE

  • Why does my mom hear sounds that don't actually exist?

Try not to worry. First, find out what the noises sound like. Is it a loud ringing in her ear? If so, don’t worry. Whatever it is, you should investigate it before sending a doctor or nurse to her. READ MORE

  • My son has a hard time paying attention to instructions, and tells me he feels nervous all the time. Should he be in counseling?

He might be a little ADHD or something similar. The issue is that they will put him on medication, even if he is not so bad or not adhd. It could be a learning or focusing disability. He is only 8 and you can wait till he is around 12. READ MORE

  • Is yoga good for stress?

Yes it will help very much! One will have more energy in times of crisis, and it helps deal with things better. A good workout is great in all ways READ MORE

  • How can I stop nightmares about an event from my childhood?

Maybe something in your life right now is making you feel insecure. And it will trigger past events. Try to stay calm and know that the past cannot hurt you anymore unless you let it. Being around friends and family at times can help READ MORE

  • How should I comfort my son after his divorce?

Just be his mother and listen to him and try not to judge. I’ve done plenty of marriage counseling and couples therapy and realize it takes two to tango. Consider this a learning ground for future relationships. None of us get a free ride in life and this is obviously something he must go through. I went through it and have children and had my children stolen from me because I had temporarily custody, but lived 5,000 miles away and lost custody. Let him know many go through this and one must learn from it and not be angry all the time, because first is sadness and blaming yourself, then comes anger and resentment. He will come through in time. Group therapy is great for divorcees. He might want to seek a group or see a therapist. READ MORE

  • Can kidney disease cause depression?

Not really at all. One becomes depressed without knowing sometimes, and getting ill makes it worse! One needs to see the cup half full by preventing and seeking holistic therapy and medicine. Eat and drink right and change their habits of eating all together. They need to want to get better and need to know it’s entirely up to them, not a doctor or something else. READ MORE

  • Can a lack of sleep cause depression?

Yes it can and many other habits. One separates themselves when not getting enough sleep and one ends up being lonely and depressed. One can make it up with weekend sleeps and no alcohol whatsoever READ MORE

  • Can physical illness lead to depression?

Yes, it can happen, and as we get older, depression comes easier than when young. All because we have a change that many do not care for. Try to be around her and invite her to all family get togethers. That would help. Maybe even take her in. READ MORE

  • Is one dependent on anti-depressants for life?

That really depends on her and her recovery. What happens is that we end up being immune to them and doctors change to another type and so on. Many naturally become dependent on them and that isn’t so good but like anything mental health has become a business like them all. What happens is that our natural components that give us our natural chemicals become dormant and so forth and we need to keep taking them unless we can recover quickly and have the right doctor and therapist. READ MORE

  • What is the effect of antidepressants on a baby in the womb?

Ask your doctor about that and research yourself. I personally don’t think that will affect the baby, especially if the mom needs it. Post-partum depression can happen while carrying a baby. READ MORE
