Dr. Katherine Uvelli, MD is an accomplished family medicine physician who enjoys caring for patients of all ages and backgrounds. She attended Imperial College London School of Medicine, where she received her medical degree in 2012, and completed her residency at University of Washington Valley Medical Center. Dr. Uvelli also holds a BA in French literature from Cornell University and speaks French proficiently. Dr. Uvelli lived in the United Kingdom for 7 years where she worked in health policy, and she later stayed to study medicine before returning to the US for residency training. Prior to working at SDSM, she practiced in a busy clinic in Westfield, New Jersey, where she treated a large range of patients with complex medical conditions. Dr. Uvelli's goal is to help patients live healthy and fulfilling lives. She believes in the importance of educating patients about their health and aims to incorporate her patients' values to their health care.
