Pertaining to his educational pursuits, Dr. Brown graduated with his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2011, before completing his residency in anatomic & clinical pathology at the same educational venue in 2015. Finally, he completed his fellowship in molecular genetic pathology at the University of Utah Huntsman Cancer Center in 2017.
Following his training, the doctor attained board certification in anatomic & clinical pathology, hematology, and molecular genetic pathology through the American Board of Pathology (ABPath). The mission of the ABPath is to promote the health of the public and advance the practice and science of pathology by establishing voluntary certification standards and assessing the qualifications of those seeking to practice the specialty of pathology.
In order to remain up to date in his field, he is an active member of the American Medical Association, the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology, and the College of American Pathologists.
