He then relocated to the United States, where he conducted general surgery residencies at Seton Hall University School of Health and Medical Sciences and St John Detroit Riverview Hospital in New Jersey (2007 – 2010) and St. Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri (2010 – 2012)
