Dr. Lipton is a board-certified general surgeon who is currently serving patients at Arizona Preferred Surgeons in Glendale, Arizona. The team of board-certified surgeons bring more than 30 years of surgical experience and believe in personalized care. 

Dr. Lipton earned both a PhD and a medical degree at Louisiana State University Health Science Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. He then moved to the Valley where he completed an internship and residency through the Phoenix Integrated Surgical Residency.

Dr. Lipton is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). He is also a member of the Society for Surgery of the Alimentary Tract, the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, the American Physiological Society, the American Society of Breast Surgeons, and the Phoenix Surgical Society.

Dr. Lipton is board-certified in surgery by the American Board of Surgery (ABS). The ABS is an independent, non-profit organization located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, founded for the purpose of certifying surgeons who have met a defined standard of education, training, and knowledge. 

Dr. Lipton has been recognized as a 2018 Top Doc in Arizona. He has also received a number of awards throughout his career, including Patients’ Choice Award (2013, 2014, 2016, and 2018), On-Time Doctor Award (2014, 2016 and 2018), and Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2013 and 2016).
