NW Elaina Ct Portland OR, 97229About
I’m Jessie Jenkins, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), and I’m passionate about helping people improve their mental health and overall well-being. With experience in a variety of healthcare settings, including outpatient clinics, group homes, and hospitals, I specialize in managing medication and conducting thorough evaluations for individuals facing a wide range of mental health challenges.
My treatment philosophy is rooted in the belief that every person is unique, and so are their mental health needs. My goal is to empower you by providing the tools and knowledge necessary to take control of your mental health journey. I prioritize open communication, ensuring that you fully understand your treatment options and feel confident in making decisions that are right for you. I believe in building a trusting relationship where you feel safe to express your concerns and work together with me to create a personalized treatment plan.
I take a holistic approach, combining both pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions to provide comprehensive care. I specialize in treating conditions like depression, anxiety, bipolar disorders, schizophrenia, PTSD, ADHD, insomnia, eating disorders, mood disorders, panic attacks, and OCD. Using Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and Motivational Interviewing, I’ll help you find the strategies that work best for your individual needs.
I accept insurance plans such as Aetna, Cigna, and Blue Cross Blue Shield, and I provide care for children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. I look forward to helping you on your journey toward better mental health.
