Diabetes Comfort, Care, and Routines
Is checking your blood sugar and taking insulin second nature to you or is it still difficult?
I don't know if it'll ever be second nature. I hoped it would just be part of my day like showering and brushing my teeth, but it's still a big deal.
How is your day to day life impacted by diabetes? Does your routine revolve around treatment?
It feels as if my life revolves around needles and insulin.
What are your concerns, if any, about the treatment you received or are receiving?
I might be missing something but I would like to see more national organizations for support and doctors who care for only patients with diabetes. I wouldn't want a physician who only treats my diabetes and ignores my other health issue, just one that specializes in patients with diabetes. Feedback welcome!
