Can covid affect my kidneys?

I was diagnosed with the covid infection. I wonder if it can affect my kidneys?

Kidney damage in COVID-19 patients is common and can range from mild proteinuria (protein in urine), hematuria (blood in urine), and acute kidney injury requiring renal replacement therapy (RRT). RRT include intermittent hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, continuous hemofiltration, and hemodialysis. Thank you.
There have been recent reports of nonelderly adults infected with COVID-19 who have developed an acute kidney injury (AKI) — sudden loss of kidney function. These adults did not have underlying medical conditions. With proper treatment, including dialysis in severe cases, AKI can be reversible.
It probably could, but I am not sure. Speak to a nephrologist.
