It depends on how long he’s had it, does it come and go, does it itch, how long do the bumps last, does it blister, bleed or scale, is he an allergic child in general, is there a family history of allergy, eczema, hives, poison ivy, drug allergy... There is much more to it than what information is available. Seeing and allergist or dermatologist or just his pediatrician could be invaluable.
