My daughter was diagnosed with autism. Can a psychologist help a child with autism?

Yes, if your child has high functioning verbal skills and a fair amount of social interaction. If your child has low verbal skills and limited social interaction usually an ABA (Applied Behavioral Analyst) therapist would be much more likely to help.
