I have a heel spur. Can heel spur be cured?

Yes. The heel spur is not the issue as they do not cause pain. It is secondary to the plantar fascial band of tissue pulling away from the heel bone leaving an open space which fills in with bone and causes a spur. The damage to the plantar fascial band of tissue is causing the pain. Most therapies such as physical therapy, stretching, inserts and radial eswt can be helpful. But if you want to resolve the heel pain for good we specialize in the 1 time treatment using high intensity shock wave therapy, with a 98% 1st time treatment success rate. We are one of 12 in the US that specialize in this treatment and have been doing this for 27 years. This is the only non-surgical treatment for the resolution of heel pain.
