Cardiac/gastric problems?

I went to the hospital in January with chest pain and I had full cardiac labs and EKG, all were normal thank goodness. I was diagnosed with gastritis with bleeds. Is it unlikely due to be cardiac, the chest pain that I'm having today? I'm also nauseous. My blood pressure is 110/70 and the pulse is normal.

People are often told (by various caregivers) that they have gastritis even if no testing was done to prove it. Did you have an upper endoscopy (EGD) that showed gastritis? The term gastritis is thrown around a lot by caregivers when they don't know what else could explain the symptoms, but just saying it doesn't make it so. Chest pain can arise from many things but gastritis would be low on the list.
