Growing single long thick white hair on chest?

I am 26 years old female about 10 years ago, one day suddenly I saw one single almost 2cm long thick slightly curly white hair on my left side of chest which I plucked and it never grew back till now. At that time I was about 16 yrs old and hand no other hair on chest except that white hair. For the next 2 to 3 years also I had no other chest hair but after that I started growing some chest hair but they were black and straight and they were also almost the same length or some were even shorter Or longer than that single white hair and they were not in the same place but other area of chest even including area above and below that place. (also I am Indian female (giving details for reference. Please anybody tell me the reason for that single hair which was white thick long slightly curlier as compared to other black hair that grew later. I am very stressed because of that white hair.

No reason to stress.
The answer is hormones. Before you are fully developed, hairs tend to come in light or white. With the growth of black hairs on your chest, it is an indication of relatively too much male hormones in your blood. We all have some of each type in our blood. The good news is that the condition is treatable with an inexpensive medication. Spironolactone is there most
commonly used.
You need to be checked for polycystic ovarian syndrome which causes hormonal upset, menstrual irregularities, and infertility associated with production of excess male hormone. The treatment for this is Metformin. Louis Train, MD
