Depends on what stage of arthritis you have. You should consult your doctor on what’s the next steps , physical therapy or more invasive treatment
Arthritis can be painful and limit mobility. I recommend you see a foot and ankle surgeon (podiatrist) for evaluation and further treatment options.
The seriousness really depends on the level of arthritis severity. You would need a doctor's examination.
It means inflammation of your ankle joint. It can cause a lot of pain and difficulty in ambulating which can be very debilitating but the symptoms can be treated.
It depends what the cause of the arthritis is. You can have regular wear and tear of a joint, septic arthritis, gouty arthritis, Rheumatoid arthritis/autoimmune related arthritis, traumatic arthritis, etc. Depending on the severity of the disease that has caused your arthritis, it may be serious. But you can NEVER re-grow hyaline cartilage, the cartilage in your joints. So ALL arthritis is permanent.
