Pain relief with blood thinning tablets?

Currently taking Edoxaban (recently reduced from 60mg to 30mg due to lower kidney function) and Ramipril (2.5mg to improve kidney functionality). What pain relief tablets can I take? I know I can't take Ibuprofen or aspirin. Can I take Paracetamol or codamol (8mg/500mg) tablets

Paracetamol
Tylenol is preferred if you don’t have any liver issues. You should definitely avoid ibuprofen / other NSAID as you are having low kidney function..
Tylenol is the right choice. You can take 2 tablets of 500 mg each (for a total of 1000 mg, that is 1 gram) 3 times daily for 5-7 days. Then you will stop. Avoid or limit considerably the intake of alcohol and drink not less than 8 cups of water daily.
Can take paracetamol as long as kidney function is ok
You are correct, due to your current blood thinner as well as your kidney disease you should definitely avoid all of the anti-inflammatory medications such as aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen. You can take paracetamol/acetaminophen or narcotic/synthetic narcotics. Narcotics can be habit forming but at 78 years of age I do not consider that to be much of risk for you.
