Some people may experience anxiety from epinephrine if it is in the local anesthetic. Most often, the amounts of local anesthetic used are far below thresholds for systemic reactions. Good luck!
Could die from toxicity
One is potential allergy, but very rare. The other is too much given, resulting in toxicity with potential for seizures or cardiac arrest.
Side effects of local anesthetic are rare. Overdoses and intravascular injection can result in seizures or cardiovascular instability.
Local anesthetics can cause transient pain and burning when first injected, especially if bupivacaine is used or it is injected too rapidly. The duration of numbness from local anesthetics varies considerably. Giving too much local anesthetic can cause numbness or tingling in your lips or gums, ringing in your ears, or even a transient seizure, so the dose must be carefully prescribed.
Side effects from local anesthetics themselves are rare. Overdosing can lead to ringing in the ears , metallic taste and seizure, unconsciousness, cardiac arrest and death.
Unless you have an allergic reaction which is very rare there are no real side effects to a local aesthetic other than a short term regional lack of sensation which is the reason for that medication.
