What do I do for this pain?

I have had pancreatitis over 20 or more times I have had studies done and other procedures. Now my specialist is basically saying two options left for me, take out the gallbladder and then if that doesn't help take out the pancreas. I am in pain every day and I have done a lot of what the doctors have asked as in doing study and other procedures and in a lot of pain most of the time. My specialist prescribed me medical marijuana and it really works well for nausea, anxiety, hunger, and upset stomach but not so much for the pain. I can't get my specialist or my regular doctor to prescribe the one that I have found to really work oxycodone and everything I have been willing to do to get better I think I deserve to not be in pain. I don't want to find another doctor, I have had mine for a long time but can't continue to be in pain. But don't want to be accused of doctor shopping either just don't know what to do I am 42 but feel like I am 65 already.

The history is not adding up. If you had pancreatitis 20 times related to the gallbladder, then the gallbladder would have been taken out a long time ago is stones are present. Need to know what is the cause of the pancreatitis, then future episodes can be prevented. Is it alcohol, medications, supplements, hereditary causes, etc? Get an opinion from a pancreas specialist.
