General Practitioner Questions Bloating

Why am I bloated

Hi! I’m 20 years old and work as a server in a fancy restaurant. On and off for the past 2 years, every night I go into work, my stomach starts to get bloated to the point where I am very very uncomfortable and on the verge of being in pain. I try to use the bathroom but never need to. I get super thirsty, but any liquids always make it worse. Every night I’ve had to force myself to throw up, which usually helps! The vomit is usually just acidic fluid since I don’t eat much throughout the day. But I’ve been trying to eat more recently hoping to fix the bloating and it hasn’t gone away. I’m not on any medication, and the only health situation I have is a tumor in my knee that was deemed not cancer a few years ago.
Any help would be great!

This is a weird story. I have never heard of anything like it, and my experience is rich. Meanwhile, fasting is the answer to most issues of this nature. Try fasting for 3 days drinking only water. After 3 days start with oatmeal soup in small amounts. Keep this up for 2 days, then start adding foods that you want, but in small amounts, and see which one of them, if any, causes the bloating again. Try going lactose-free in the beginning – it could be a case of a variant of lactose intolerance.
Hello! Thank you for your question. First of all, I want to clarify that I'm not a doctor, I wrote the book "Game Over, MS" and I have beaten MS. In addition to MS medication, one of the big things I do is I have followed the Blood Type Diet for 25 years. Do you have the Type O blood type? Type Os tend to have stomach and digestive issues. If you don't know your blood type, you can buy a testing kit online, or you can go and give blood and they'll test you for free. Sites that offer a testing kit include the following:

Home Blood Type Kit - blood type test | Eat Right for Your Type (4yourtype.com)<https://www.4yourtype.com/original-home-blood-typing-kit/>
Blood Type Diet | Eating Right for Your Blood Type | Blood Type Diet Food List (bodyredesigning.com)<https://www.bodyredesigning.com/index.php?l=product_list&c=2>

If I'm correct about my guess of your blood type, be sure to eat plenty of quality red meat in your diet, preferably, especially during breakfast/lunch. Eat vegetables that you like, and don't worry so much about fruit, because fruit tends to be very acidic and can harm your stomach. Taking a daily multivitamin will satisfy the vitamins and minerals you lack in your diet. (In contrast, someone who has the Type A blood type needs to avoid red meats and eat plenty of nuts, fruits, and vegetables.) Be sure to drink plenty of water throughout your day (if you don't like water, put lemon and lime in it), and avoid potato chips/corn chips, and soda. Avoid wheat, and opt for oats instead. Have salad rather than corn. Also, if you like cereal, eat oat cereal with a milk alternative, because Type Os do tend to get stomach issues from milk.

Try this strictly for two weeks and see how you feel. Godspeed, and keep me posted!
