Nephrologist (Kidney Specialist) Questions Dialysis

Can dialysis result in a lack of appetite?

I'm 30 and on dialysis. Ever since I started I've noticed a significant drop in appetite. Is this why?

Kidney disease suppresses appetite
Yes, chronic kidney disease and dialysis can result in a reduced appetite. Be sure you tell your kidney doctor about this so that you don't suffer any malnutrition or loss of necessary nutrients.
