Please try Apple Cider Vinegar with mother
1 tablespoon in 8 oz of water, twice a day. Take this 20 minutes before breakfast and dinner.
In general, reflux can be reduced by doing the following:

- eating smaller meals.
- eating less fatty foods and high calorie meals, which empty the stomach slowly.
- losing weight if you are overweight or obese.
- allowing at least 4 hours after a meal before lying down flat in bed.
- angling the entire bed by placing bricks under the posts at the head of the bed.

The body's way of clearing acid from the esophagus is by swallowing saliva repeatedly. This physically pushes the acid back into the stomach and also buffers the acid.

There are no "natural" therapies for heartburn. An old method is to swallow calcium carbonate to buffer the acid, and this is what Tums and other over-the-counter remedies contain. Otherwise Pepcid, Zantac, Pilosec, etc., will do the trick.

For truly refractory heartburn, a GI workup is necessary to look for other problems such as hiatal hernia, delayed gastric emptying, esophageal disorder, and others.
Heartburn is a very common symptom for one out of four people.

It is better to follow some antireflux measures as follows:
- Do not eat late meals at night
- Eat at least 2-3 hrs before you go to bed
- Avoid excess coffee, mint, chocolate
- Don’t wear tight clothes after a meal and try to sit up for at least 2 hrs.

You can try antacids as needed. Also, find out from your experience what food triggers the heart burn like tomato, fried foods etc. Every morning, drink a glass of water with lime juice. I hope those help.
I would recommend that you try ginger 500 mg at bedtime. You can increase ginger to 500 mg twice daily, if needed.
More information is needed to answer your question. Your age, gender, BMI, and duration of symptoms. Have you been evaluated by a Gastroenterologist before? If not, and if your heartburn is chronic, then you should be evaluated before depending solely on home remedies.
