Family Practitioner Questions Diarrhea

What can I do to help manage my problem of frequent diarrhea?

It seems that every time I have to use the bathroom, I have diarrhea. What can I do to help manage my problem without taking anti-diarrhea medications all the time?

You can try an illumination diet where you for example cut out all dairy to see if that resolves the issue if not try cutting out other types of food one at a time. If this continues seek medical attention.
Get gi. consult. Stool c. S. Colonoscopy
An over-the-counter recommendation would be to add some probiotics. Change your diet for a no-fiber diet. Always follow the recommendations of your PCP.
You need to do one stool for a culture, 3 stools for ova and parasites, and 3 stools for occult blood. This will screen you for most of the serious problems which can cause the problem. First, I would eliminate dairy products, and if no change, I would eliminate gluten-containing food.
