I am 32 years old and I have a very stressful job. My bowel movements are not consistent and I suffer from constipation very often. Is it possible to have bowel disturbances due to stress?

Yes, stress can cause severe bowel problems in patients with anxiety. Consult a gastroenterologist if the symptoms worsen.

Yes, it is absolutely possible to have bowel disorders due to stress. Some of these conditions are grouped into what we call functional bowel disorders. Your symptoms seem to resemble irritable bowel syndrome and I suggest that you seek medical care in order to rule out more serious conditions.
