Back in 1997, he graduated with his medical degree from the Damascus University Faculty of Medicine in Syria. After relocating to the United States, he completed his residency in internal medicine at the Ascension Michigan St. John Hospital in 2007, and his fellowship in endocrinology & metabolism at Wayne State University in 2011.
Subsequent to his education, the doctor attained board certification in endocrinology, diabetes & metabolism, and internal medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
