Deidre Tranter Fibromyalgia

I was diagnosed with Arthritis back in my early 30's in my hands and knees. Everything else I have, I have spent a lot of money on trying...

People like me don't deserve this. I try to be there for others and put myself second. Now I have to put myself first. My frustrations is trying to get disability. I was diagnosed in 2000 and continued to work until I just can't anymore. I signed up for disability in 2018. Takes a long time. I was turned down twice. I had to go part time two days a week and it was too much for me so I had to quit. They sent me to two doctors that have never seen me before so they really don't know my ups and downs of having this. They don't know my autoimmune, nerve damage from shingles, etc. So it was pointless. Especially since I wasn't hurting that much when I saw them. I paid for it a week after and was down for that time. I finally had my hearing in Sept. and we thought it went well but I was turned down. They think the judge was hung up on a job the job expert said I could still do. I have done that job, there is no time for breaks as needed, barely time to grab something to eat and go to the restroom.

We can't do a lot of walking, sitting or standing. We have to be able to do it as needed. Now I am appealing the judges decision. Another year and a half waiting and I have bills to pay. They need to do something different so these things can be done faster. I understand not rushing and just letting anybody get it but it really shouldn't take that long to hear somebody. I would think 6 months. We can't be kept in limbo when we have bills to pay. Hire more judges to hear the cases. Just like going to a doctor, when you need to get in to see them, it takes you six weeks or longer to get an appointment. They need second shifts to take care of that. My doctor filled out a paper for me for my disability. You would think that would be enough to get it. Yet they send you to two totally different ones that don't know you. It is so aggravating.
