Don't forget the importance of sunglasses all year round. We need protection from UV and IR. Make sure you are wearing good quality name brand sunglasses for the best protection.
When glasses have a tint, that does not mean you are automatically protected. Some tints look pretty but can create distortion and headaches when a patient wears the glasses.
Check with your local optometrist and make sure you are getting great quality and great protection. UV is one of the many main factors causing cataracts. Good sunglasses can at least offer you some protection.
