Depending on your health, as many as are needed to be removed...as long as it can be done safely. Best to talk with your Oral Surgeon.

You would need to be evaluated to answer that question. However, statistically, you will have problems with them during your lifetime and it becomes harder to remove wisdom teeth the older you get.

Most likely it will need removal. Best to get it looked at by an oral surgeon; some "cysts" can be very aggressive!

Ages can vary a great deal regarding wisdom teeth removal. I have seen them in as young as 11 years old. Not uncommon - I see a couple a month.

Your son most likely needs a night guard. An evaluation by an Oral Surgeon would be best.

This information needs to be discussed with your oral surgeon. Return to function is dependent on the surgery performed and the degree of difficulty. However, after a surgery to fix a jaw cross bite, it is highly unlikely that you will be returning to work in a few days.

I would call your surgeon's office first. Sutures may be resorbable and then that could be normal depending on the type of suture.

I would avoid hot foods for a few days after your surgery...but, as always, please consult YOUR oral surgeon regarding any questions pertaining to your care.

Children usually do very well with extractions afterwards, usually better than adults. Best to discuss with your oral surgeon.
