Can bunions indicate an underlying foot problem?
Not always. Sometimes they are genetic and were passed down.
I have an ingrown toenail. How would it be removed?
The toe is numbed and then the nail portion is removed and an acid (or not) is placed and then covered.
Can heel pain be treated surgically?
Could be diabetic neuropathy which surgery would not fix. Could be plantar fasciitis which if conservative treatment fails then surgery could help.
I have a small growth around my ankle. Could it be serious?
There is always a chance for a malignancy. I would have a doctor take a look.

What should I do to prevent my feet from hurting in the snow?
I would find a better boot and/or possible inserts in your current shoes.

You can try over the counter treatment but may need to see a doctor to make sure it is a wart and also for different treatments.
What is the treatment for hammer toe?
We can try padding and splinting of the toes. If the pain continues it may be a surgical procedure to help reduce the pain.

Could be due to tight ligaments or a variety of things. Would recommend seeing a physician.
Do acupuncture shoes help with heel pain?
To be honest, I am not too familiar with the shoes. I have had some patients try them; some say it helps, others are back in my office for injections or other treatments.

It is possible you have athelet's foot. May need medication either topically or orally to help.
Can bath salts help in treating heel pain?
Some find relief with that. Others need more aggressive treatment such as inserts, injections, oral medication, icing, stretching and even sometimes surgery.

Why does my foot feel heavy?
It could because of multiple reasons. Muscle strain/pulls. Also, could be nerve related leading to other issues.
