Dr. Mark J. Shikowitz treats patients for surgical issues associated with the ear, nose, and throat, as well as the head and neck. He has expertise in pediatric otolaryngology and treats adolescents and adults. As an otolaryngologist, Dr. Shikowitz can perform many types of surgery on the delicate and complex tissues of the head and neck. Dr. Shikowitz holds several titles, including the Director of The Zucker Sinus Center of Otolaryngology and Communicative Disorders at Long Island Jewish Medical Center.
He is also the Vice-Chairman of Otolaryngology and Communicative Disorders at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and North Shore University Hospital. Dr. Shikowitz is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is board-certified in otolaryngology, facial cosmetic surgery, and head and neck surgery by the American Board of Otolaryngology. In addition, Dr. Shikowitz is a Professor of Otolaryngology at Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell.
