That being said, if you have arrhythmias from the upper chamber of the heart (Atria), then calcium channel blockers are typically better like Cardizem or Diltiazem. If the arrhythmia is from the lower chamber of the heart, then Beta Blockers (Metoprolol Succinate) are good.
