Chiropractic Physicians specialize in the diagnosis, treatment & management of musculoskeletal pain & injury. We enjoy a high rate of success & high patient satisfaction because we holistically address BOTH joint function & the muscular component of the problem.

Swank Chiropractic uses the SynchroSonic US/752 combination unit which offers the benefits of therapeutic ultrasound & HVG muscle stimulation.

Therapeutic Ultrasound uses acoustic energy at a high frequency. A continuous wave produces thermal (heating) effects. Thermal effects include; increased blood flow, a reduction of stiffness & spasm, an increase in flexibility of tendon & joint capsules & decreased pain. Pulsed waves typically produce non-thermal effects. These effects include tissue regeneration, collagen synthesis, increased blood flow & edema reduction.

The simultaneously applied electric currents create thermal, physiologic & chemical responses. This helps control pain, muscle contractions & also reduces edema.

In addition, the combination US/HVG penetrates deep into tissue & allows us to effectively treat shoulders, elbows, hips & knees. The results? Faster healing, increased mobility & pain reduction.
