Does Lupus Mean a Lifetime of Poor Sleep?

Create a routine

Creating a bedtime routine signals the body that sleepy time is around the corner. Try to do the same things, in the same order, at the same time every evening. This will tell the body and the brain that it's time to wind down and get ready to rest.

Part of the routine should include some kind of mind-clearing activities like meditation, journaling, making a to-do list for the next day, or double checking the calendar.  Mindfully clearing the clutter from your mind before bed can prevent it from staying awake long after your body has gone to sleep.
