A small blockage?

I have a small knot in my throat that doesn’t hurt but feels like it’s going to block my throat when I eat or drink.

Very likely it’s blockage of one of salivary gland. Please consult an Otolaryngologist
See an ENT doctor for an in-office endoscopy (very comfortable surprisingly) to ensure nothing is present in the throat (rule out a tumor). A thyroid examination is also warranted.

That being said, this likely represents globus pharyngeus and is typically due to larygnopharyngeal reflux. Google these for further information and see if this sounds like what you're experiencing.

I do not understand. Do you have an actual mass that you can see? If so, see an ENT. If just a sensation of a knot, it is probably globus ((look it up on your browser)
