Am I okay?

I am 33 years old. I use to visualize bad things like when I heat the milk in the microwave it will explode so every time I heat it I visualize that. Sometimes when I am riding public transportation I visualize that I open the door and jump, etc. I used to remember every single detail with dates and times but I stopped now I don’t remember anything but the old stuff still rememberable, sometimes when I prepare my bag I forget if I put curtain stuff in a bag like a blind moment for me. Sometimes I feel my brain is numb or full of thoughts although I am not thinking of a certain thing like my brain is always working without being shut off, even when I’m not doing anything.

Mild anxiety state ?
Overthinking can cause some anxiety and distress. The question is, why does this happen in the first place? The answer is you are trying to have control. Chronic worries operate under the misperception that their overthinking and attempts at controlling every situation, allows you to problem solve. When you experience this fear your brain jumps into "analysis mode" and starts to prepare and think over every outcome. How do you stop overthinking? Breathe, exercise, listen to music. Distract yourself from what it is you are thinking at the moment.
I suggest that you speak to your primary care about this topic and see if she can refer you for further evaluation. Overthinking can affect you mentally and physically drain you.
Hi, Thank you for your question. It sounds like you have a very active imagination, and could possibly channel some of that creativity using visualization techniques to retrain your brain to think about calming or relaxing things instead of milk exploding or jumping off public transportation. Forgetfulness can have many causes, such as inattention, dissociation, or a neurological issue, so I would recommend you seek support from mental health and/or medical professional. I hope this has been helpful!
What you are describing is not normal. It could be a physical or a psychological problem. You need to see either a psychologist or psychiatrist who is likely to order testing to help decide what treatment will be best. What you describe sounds to me to be a treatable problem.
It looks like you may have a form of OCD. I suggest seeing a Psychiatrist or Cognitive Behavioral Therapist to get diagnosed and possibly treated. Dr. F
