I'm getting braces tommorow but ive to attend an important party 8 days later , would it be okay?

You should get your braces after the party. Your appearance will be better. Or get Invisalign.

be no reason why you can't go to the party. You should receive
instructions on the foods you should stay away from. and how to properly
care for your teeth and braces. It really isn't that big of a deal.

The first week or so can be sore and getting used to the wires takes about a week or so but keep wax ( your dentist will give it to you ) with you always . Hope this helps
