You can do anything you want after a treatment. If you want to increase the positive effect of the treatment you should avoid alcohol and other recreational drugs for the rest of the day as they might obscure the efficacy of the treatment. You should also avoid strenuous exercise, excessive sweating (including sexual activity) after a treatment. Rest, gentle exercise (stretching, walking) and good hydration all help. Yvonne R. This question would be better answered by the Acupuncturist treating you. Some back pain issues can be helped or even resolved with the use of some alcohol, particularly wine. But in others healing is delayed or not as good immediate result from treatment. So it truly depends on the underlying cause. Please ask your practitioner about your particular issue to know what's best for you.
Of course you can! Alcohol is very blood invigorating in TCM, not a bad idea to get your blood flowing after stimulating your qi. However, I would not suggest if you have issues with alcohol, your medication contradicts using alcohol and/or your condition is not healthy enough for alcohol. Check with your primary physician to see if alternative medicine and/or alcohol is comfortable for your condition.
You can, but you might want to wait an hour or two before drinking. You're likely going to be what we call acu-stoned after the treatments already.
You'd better not at least 24 hours. Acupuncture moves your energy to balance nad harmonize. Alcohol will hinder function.
Yes, you can drink alcohol after acupuncture treatment. I recommend moderation if you drink alcohol.
