Maybe. If you are considering trying acupuncture you should give it a try.. You should know after a few visits if it Is effective. Should you need further help please visit my website or call for an appointment
If your wrist pain is chronic, you will need multiple sessions per week for a period of time. Then you can decrease sessions to once a week once it is under control. You need a private consultation to discuss your pain issue.
Acupuncture is very helpful in pain management. It depends on what is going on . sometimes the pain goes away after 1 treatment, sometimes it is palliative care for pain management.
It’s hard to tell. Need more information on wrist pain. Is it acute or chronic? Is it related to trauma or arthritis? Acupuncture can help but less likely to cure.
Acupuncture will not hurt, it’s worth giving it a try. The best way to treat chronic wrist pain is to figure out the source, the cause of the wrist pain. You always want to rule out whether the pain is being referred from your heart muscle.
This really depends upon what is the cause of your chronic pain. However, in most cases, your pain will not likely be "cured" with acupuncture. That being said, acupuncture can help to decrease the level of pain in certain conditions. I would recommend you first consult a hand specialist to determine what is causing your chronic pain.
Absolutely. It will take a series of treatments, so find an acupuncturist near you and don't miss any appointments. The more regularly you go, the faster your wrist pain will go away.
Good luck!
Good luck!
Yes. Depending on the cause of the pain (carpal tunnel syndrome, arthritis, ligaments problems) the strategy would be different. Read more here: https://philaacupuncture.com/treatment-for-carpal-tunnel-syndrome/
A lot is going to depend on how severe the pain is, how long it has been going on, and what, specifically, is causing the pain. Without knowing those things, it's hard to say whether or not resolution is a realistic expectation.
Generally speaking, acupuncture is a very good choice for pain management. Inside that, there are two end-points - either we eliminate the pain and it doesn't return or we reduce the pain to some manageable level where it can be maintained with sporadic treatment.
With the information I have, I can't predict what you should expect.
