After a root canal, it’s best to wait until the anesthesia wears off before drinking hot beverages. Since your mouth may still be numb, you risk burning yourself without realizing it. Once the numbness fades, you can drink hot drinks, but it’s advisable to avoid very hot temperatures, as the treated tooth and surrounding area may be sensitive.

At Sharp Dentistry & Associates, we recommend sticking to lukewarm or room-temperature drinks for the first day or two to minimize discomfort. If you experience any lingering sensitivity, try sipping through a straw or letting your drink cool slightly before consuming it. If you have any concerns after your procedure, don’t hesitate to contact us for personalized advice.
Root canal therapy removes the pulpal tissue (nerve) from the tooth. Without a nerve inside the tooth that particular tooth should no longer cause you any pain to thermal changes or liquids in your mouth. Having said that drinking a hot beverage immediately after the procedure while you are still numb is probably not a great idea.
We do not recommend drinking hot beverages after undergoing a root canal procedure. Hot drinks may interrupt gum regeneration. Also hard chewing should be avoided. Get Outlook for iOS<https://aka.ms/o0ukef>
I would wait a few days to about 1 week.
Yes, not chewing in it until it is restored with a crown.
Maybe. Best to avoid for a few days
