Was the tooth Vital or Non Vital?
How many canals?
Top or bottom ?
Near maxillary sinus ?
Length of flight ?
If must travel would take 600mg ibuprofen 1 hr prior to flight
Every dental infection is unique and every patient is unique so this answer will be a generalization.  Typically if the root canal was non-surgical, in other words the work was done through the center of the tooth and no surgical flap was performed then travel shouldnt be a problem.  More complicated root canals with aggressive infections may be the exception.  Your endodontist may want you on antibiotics.  Discuss with the provider.  Hope this helps.
